MagicCon Amsterdam Reveals More Bloomburrow, Duskmourn Info

MagicCon Amsterdam previewed a ton of new, exciting things this past day. These developments include information about Bloomburrow and Duskmourn: House of Horror. Further, there will be an update on a classic supplemental format in the Commander decks for the latter. We are so excited that we can hardly contain it! Let's get right to the previews.

MagicCon Amsterdam's Bloomburrow Previews

First off, at the MagicCon Amsterdam preview panel, we got a first look at some new cards from the fuzzy-wuzzy woodland creature set, Bloomburrow. Most of these previews feature common and uncommon cards, including a cycle of kindred-style lands. These cards tap for colorless as well as for their respective single color. They also have an additional ability that works with the main creature types in their color for the setting.

Beyond this mass of commons and uncommon (shown in our image compilation near the end of the article), we also got a new rare card: Salvation Swan.

Unlike the Bloomburrow preview reveals, the previews that Wizards provided for Duskmourn: House of Horror were massive. In this part of the panel, we got several rare cards. Duskmourn Commander Archenemy Decks

To add to the madness and horror of Duskmourn, Wizards has decided that the Commander decks for the set will feature Archenemy scheme cards. For those not in the know, Archenemy is a supplemental format that uses oversized cards to represent the schemes of a certain "evil" player. The games are played in a 3-versus-1 format, with three valiant heroes facing off against one evildoer. Scheme cards are the key component that gives the Archenemy, that aforementioned villain, a fairer edge against three opponents. Wizards has showcased two of these schemes at MagicCon Amsterdam; let's take a look!
